Church - in person SUNDAY
Time & Location
About the Event
RSVP is required to attend. If your plans change, please notify us right away so that we can offer your chair to someone else. There is no Kids' Church or childcare available at this time. Please consider child swaps with friends that you are already hanging out with.
We will be touchless. Doors will be held open, no bulletins, and no offering baskets passed
We will be food/beverage free. Feel free to bring your own coffee, tea, water, etc.
We will sit in households that are socially distant from the next household. We are allowed to gather at 25% capacity or 50 people, whichever is less. For our space this means that we can accommodate approximately 30-35 people.
Attendance in person is by RSVP only. If you RSVP and plans change, please let us know so we can make adjustments and offer your seat(s) to someone else. Because our seating is limited, if you go to RSVP and it notifies you that church is full, please join the waitlist so we can give you first priority for the next service.
Upon arrival at church, you/your household will be checked-in at the front door. We will have markers spaced 6 feet apart for you to stand in line for entry from the lower parking lot and will do our best to facilitate socially distant entry to your seat. With this in mind, please arrive at church 15 minutes early. The doors for entry will close 5 minutes past the start of church, so being on time in this season is important.
Masks are required for everyone. To be in compliance with the governors order for churches, everyone excluding the speaker, are required to have masks. The worship team will wear masks onto the stage, but will be singing behind a "shield".
We will have hand sanitizer available in several places in the lobby. You are not required to use hand sanitizer. It is there for anyone who desires to use it.
When church is over, you will be dismissed by row to accommodate social distancing. At the close of church you will be invited to stay in your seat to visit with others, but we also want to give anyone who needs to leave or is less comfortable with visiting an opportunity to exit.
Restrooms will be open. Lines for the restroom will need to be socially distant. This is the one area of our gathering that will not be touchless. We are required to post instructions about proper hand washing inside of the restrooms and ask that you follow those recommendations. We will also have paper towels outside of the restroom doors for your convenience/preference.
We will not have any Kids' Church programs or childcare at this time. With that in mind, we will shorten the message portion of our morning to help hold younger children's attention. Your children are welcome at church, but we do ask that you be mindful of others around you and realistic about your own child(ren)'s ability to not distract others who are trying to listen to the speaker. An idea someone had that we liked: partner with other families that you might already be gathering with for childcare swaps.
